After a month or so I guess you guys need an update. Finals probably consumed and engulfed all of Thor’s free time and he’s been MIA. So, who knows when he’ll be free to make an update or do a release, hopefully soon though. Anyways just be patient the releases will eventually come (hopefully) when Thor is back/free.

Well, this manga has been getting more and more boring, so no rush. Just keep us updated if you’re planning to work on it ever again.
@fkr Sadly I’ve gotten that feeling aswell. Like Yandere Kanojo does it better.
I thought the last chapter was interesting and am curious to find out what happens, but i guess I’ll have to be patient.
Well, he just posted a message on biribiri’s blog (note: it’s mostly hentai), so at least we know he’s not dead.

Sometimes a scanlator also need rest guys, it’s not like they get paid to do this. Just wait patiently.

@Kuro indeed, though the problem I feel is there’s just a complete lack of interest in getting anything done on it. I’d imagine if someone were to spend 20-30 minutes a day putting in a little bit, you’d be able to at least release something within a month, and here’s it’s been nearly 2 months since he’s said he needed a couple of days to get it done. Maybe I’m putting too much weight to his words, and I’m obviously expecting too much for nothing.
Anyway I’m expecting some blah, blah, they don’t get paid, they do it for the fans, you get it for free ungrateful leecher, etc. responses for my rant. All I’m saying is it can’t be that hard to put a few hours out every few days to get some work done on chapters if you actually enjoy the manga or care about the fans. That doesn’t seem to unreasonable to me since I spend quite a lot of time playing video games and reading already completed scanlations so I have to worry about this waiting for releases stuff as little as possible.
TL;DR Fuck me I’m buttmad or something, really came out longer than I thought it would be.
i don’t mind if he is on a break but it would be nice if he would at least say he is on a break. school cant be a reason as I am a junior at a university and my classes/finals ended dec 7, and classes started again on the 4th…finals don’t take that long. I’m not saying he has to have a reason to take a break but again it would be nice to know i don’t have to keep the website in my “website loop.” heck I do appreciate all the effort of the people involved in it. it would just be nice for a monthly update…

although this break is quite ( or maybe i should say “too”) long, i don’t mind for you to take break, keep up scanning n translating this manga becoz i like it so much
Scanlation is not a single person show. There’s a team behind this, at a minimum a translator. If the guy in charge takes a break and doesn’t release anything, everyone else’s work is wasted, and they’re going to get demotivated too (and pissed off). It destroys a lot of trust, and then try to get them to start working again… That’s why it’s so hard to recover after delays. If anyone cares about this manga, the best bet is to go ask other groups to pick it up.

People, something epic just happened in the story of Onidere. I just saw the raw of chapter 136, and Momo took out her mask and said something (possibly something in her real voice) to Tadashi. By what I could see in the arc that has been developed in the actual chapters of Onidere, it seems that Tadashi has some misunderstand while speaking on the phone with Saya, that let him to think that she breaked up with him, so now he has to fight his way to confront Saya (of course this is just an speculation, cause I don’t know japanese). Apparently what Momo said has something to do with encourage Tadashi to do something related to Saya.
So, please team of sexyboi scans, please hurry up and catch up with the weekly release of Onidere!
according to other sites thor frequents, hes “disappeared from the scanlating world” until/if he comes back there wont be any progression unless somebody else takes over. heres hopen
Onidere is ending in two weeks. I guess there’s no fear of this series getting ahead then.

I’m not really surprised actually, I have been watching the RAWs and while I can’t understand what they say, I did have the feeling that Onidere was reaching its climax (To the point of Momo speaking for the first time). Thanks to turtlehurtle for the notice and boing-kun for the link.
So, the last RAW to be released was chapter 136. I know this is going to sound stupid, but with only to more weeks, the final chapter is going to be 138 or 139? (I’m asking the question cause I always mess up the release dates of Japanase mangas, so I’m a bit confused here).
Now I wonder if we are going to see an Onidere anime someday… I think it would work perfectly for a 12 episodes anime and/or even a 24 episodes one…

I hope that, because Onidere is going to end, another group is going to finish the translation because it will only mean translate 29 chapters (Which is nothing compared to all the normal anual work of more busy scanlation groups) instead of a weekly work.
I have just seen the raw of the last chapter of Onidere, of course, I didn’t understand much because I don’t know japanese (yet). What can I say is that the series ended in the way it has to be ended (If you’re asking what is that way, I’m referring to Tadashi and Saya together, duh). What I saw in the last few chapters was total crazyness and the last chapter images didn’t exactly helped me to understand it a little more… anyway, it is both sad and joyful to see Onidere ending, I hope this group, or another group pick up the last 29 chapters and translate them so we can truly see and understand the last arcs of the great manga that Onidere is.
With that said, I’m still wondering if we, someday, will be able to see an Onidere anime, one can dream I guess…

its been a long time since i retired scanlating but seeing onidere like this i’d like to take up scanlating this again. anyways.. is there anyone who knows where to get the translations and raws please tell me so i could do this. (my knowledge in the world of scanlation has been reset except for my skills in cleaning and editing is still good. i’ve lost my interest before when MH got ripped off)

Don’t get your hopes up on speedy releases from CXC. The only reason they’re translating it is because it’s now not running anymore and they can release as slow as they want.
Thor is a tool for ditching, but CXC isn’t too far above him when it comes to dedication.
But we’ll see how this turns out. Since it’s not running anymore I’m sure they’ll at least put a little effort into getting it released.

Well more along the lines of putting some fears to rest because for some odd reason this project has been met with really tedious circumstances that didn’t allow it to be released at a leisurely to speedily pace. Sure that sounds like bs, so I’ll just provide a better explanation if you want when I release the next set of chapters.

Do less reassuring, get more scanlating done. Excuses are just excuses, I don’t particularly mind the reason. Seeing as my grandmother died a few weeks ago (don’t apologize), I understand some shit is unpredictable.
Actions speak louder than words right? Get more than 1 chapter out each month and maybe I’ll have some faith in future cxc projects instead of thinking of the entire group as flakes with no dedication.
